Pretty much everyone loves Borderlands. Which makes sense, considering the billions and billions of guns, and that other thing that we won’t spoil because why should anyone else know what’s going to happen? (It’s a joke. We won’t actually spoil anything.)
But even if you’re one of those people who absolutely love the first Borderlands game, there are still a lot of things about Borderlands 2 you might not know. Like how the game is actually paying homage to you, player. Despite its popularity, there is still a lot that goes unexplained in this game and online.

The folks at Gearbox have put together a list of facts and questions they’re answering about Borderlands 2 (which we’ll keep updated as more come in!), so in the spirit of good gaming and awesome lists, here are my favorite questions and secrets I learned about Borderlands 2.

A – The odds of dying are almost zero. If you do die, you can always find your body and rejoin the game!
A – Yes, there will be a level cap. You will not be able to keep playing indefinitely, however. To get better gear and experience, you’ll need to grind.

A – We want it, but it’s not a sure thing. If you can earn loot, you should be allowed to trade it. If you earned it, it’s yours!
A – Yes! ECHO is a new part of Pandora that lets you explore the world and pick up sidequests. There will also be dynamic events going on while adventuring that’ll open up new quests and challenges for the players helping each other out

A – There will be a lot of guns. We don’t know the exact number yet, but we’re pushing six figures, and it’s only going to get bigger with DLC!
A – Yes! You’ll be able to collect as many guns as you want, but you can only ever use one at a time. You can store other guns in your bank, or even trade them with other players.
A – Yes! But we can’t reveal what it is yet.
A – Yes! We’ve done away with the backpack, and replaced it with free load space and the ability to store items on your person. If you want to switch from backpack space to free space, you can go ahead and do so!
A – Yes! We want to keep the game fun and challenging. If people feel that they’re growing beyond the level cap, we’ll increase it.
