There isn’t a lot of information about this one, but there is some discussion about it on the internet. What is often asked is: “what is a DAP?” The acronym stands for “device access point” and it’s where a DAP “device” (a router, a switch, an HSS, etc.) establishes a connection to a network, which allows for the DAP to establish a direct connection to the internet.

DAP stands for Device Access Point and that is pretty much all there is to know about it. The only thing I can tell you is that it is a way to bypass your router’s security and make your router think you have a DAP in your house. If you go into your router and disable the DAP, then you can then go and set up your router’s security to allow you to not only connect to the internet but also to other routers.

This is kind of a weird point, but I have to say that I really like the idea of my DAP going to a router, and then I have to go in and disable my DAP. If I had just one DAP in my house, I would be able to just use that. It would only take a couple minutes to disable it. If it’s not a router, I’m not sure how to set up my DAP to go to a router.
