It’s a fun way to spend a day outside that can lead to getting more active and meeting new people. With more than 1,700 courses in the US alone, there’s something for everyone no matter how skilled you are or what your skill level might be at the moment.Sabsetejkhabar

Disc golf is played with a special type of flying disc, which is very similar in shape to a traditional Frisbee. However, this disc has specific guidelines that make it suitable for playing a real game, including certain rules and regulations.

The object of the game is for players to complete each hole in the fewest number of strokes. A stroke is counted when a player’s disc lands in an area that’s marked by small chains on posts surrounding the landing zone. The object of each hole is to throw your disc from tee area into an open basket at the end of the course.

About Disc golf :

1.What is Disc Golf?

Disc Golf (or Frisbee Golf) is a fun game that involves throwing plastic discs in a variety of different ways. It began as an offshoot of traditional golf and was popularized in the 1960s by the Wham-O company, who created plastic discs for those who would prefer not to carry around heavy clubs. The game continues to grow in popularity with men and women, with professionals and amateurs alike.

2.What are the rules?

In many ways, disc golf works like traditional golf with some notable exceptions. The object of the game is to find the lowest possible score. Points are scored by putting the disc into different chains that are set up through a course. The chains will vary in number and degree of difficulty depending on the course, but they will always total five points at most.

Each player has to finish a hole in as few strokes as possible, with a maximum of three throws allowed per hole – one from a tee box and two from the landing zone. A stroke is counted when a disc lands in an area that’s marked by small chains on posts surrounding the landing zone.

3.How big is it?

As mentioned earlier, there are more than 1,700 courses throughout the world today. There are events on almost a weekly basis, held in both private and public settings. The Professional Disc Golf Association keeps statistics on top players, including those affiliated with their associations.

There are also many teams that play locally and nationally – the best of which have attempted to represent the US at major tournaments like the World Championships.

4.What does it take to play?

Although it is more cost-effective for players to make their own discs out of plastic or even wood, “official” discs can be bought from companies that specialize in disc golf equipment. These discs are designed to travel the right distance and make it easy to actually land in chains. Players can even purchase courses in which to play, especially here in the US.

5.What does it take to start?

All you need is a disc of your own and a love for fun! The basics of disc golf can be learned with just a little bit of instruction from an experienced player or from watching videos online. This will give you an idea on how a game is played and what the different rules are that might confuse a newcomer.

After that, you’ll probably want to find yourself a course on which to play! You can easily find one by looking online or visiting your local park district office.

6.Where can I learn more?

If disc golf seems like something you want to try, consider picking up a book that explains the game in greater detail. A video from a professional player will also show you how to make the most of your throws and give you an idea of what kinds of discs are out there for purchase.

You can also contact one of several disc golf manufacturers and ask them about their equipment and what goes into designing the perfect flying disc for the sport.
