Step 1: Register for AFCAT 2022

Visit the official website of the Indian Air Force or click on the link shared at BYJU’S Exam Prep to apply online for the AFCAT 2 2022 exam. Fill up with mandatory details, including:

• Full Name
• Father’s/Mother’s Name
• Email ID and Mobile Number
• Nationality
• Secret Questions and Answers
• Alphanumeric Captcha

Click on Save Button; after successful registration, you will receive your registered email ID login details.

Step 2: Apply AFCAT 2022 Online

Visit the Indian Air Force official website’s AFCAT recruitment page and log in using the registration details received on the email ID. Read the instructions carefully before filling in the details to avoid any mistakes. Select the type of entry for the branch you want to appear. Click on Next to fill up the AFCAT online form based on your Official Document details as mentioned below:

• Personal Information (details provided during registration will be auto-filled)
• Educational qualifications such as academic level, qualification degree, course duration, name of college and university and marks obtained.
• Course preference (Flying, Ground Duty (Technical), Ground Duty (Non-Technical), candidates with engineering degrees need to appear for EKT.
• AFSB/SSB appeared candidates (provide details if they appeared for SSB interviews earlier along with the results)
• GATE scores
• List the source of Information where they came to know about the exams.
• Permanent and mailing address along with nearest railway station.
• Upload scanned documents such as scanned signature, left thumb impression and photograph. The size of scanned images shouldn’t exceed 50 KB, and they should be in JPEG format.
• Please select up to 5 cities of your choice in which you would like to appear for the exam.

Step 3: Make an online Fee Payment

Upon submitting the application details, you will be redirected to the payment gateway to submit AFCAT exam fees of Rs 250. You can make the payment via credit card, debit card or net banking. Upon successful payment, you will see transaction details on your screen. You will receive the AFCAT registration details in your registered email ID.
