A driver error should never be seen as an excuse to not drive. After all, we are responsible for our actions, and we are in control of our own destinies. We are able to stop, pull over, and change the destination without a panic double fault error, so why would we need a panic double fault error? I have been on the opposite end of this, where I had to take a panic double fault error to get out of a traffic jam.

The panic double fault error makes it impossible to start an ipmi driver. Because ipmi driver is a device that has to be kept powered on, when you dont have panic double fault error_code 0x0, your ipmi drivers wont start.
This is a feature that the ipmi driver needs to be able to run. Because ipmi driver runs on batteries, it needs to be started with a certain battery voltage. Because it cant run if it has wrong voltage, the ipmi driver wont start.
The panic double fault error might not be a big deal to a newbie, but if you do have panic double fault error_code 0x0, you might find yourself in a tough spot, especially if you’re not sure what’s going on. Just go ahead and reboot your device, and then make sure you have the latest version of the ipmi driver.
When I first read about the panic double fault error, I was confused. This means that the ipmi driver somehow started, but the drive itself doesn’t work. The video shows you sitting on your couch and typing up the command “sudo ipmi -t ipmi-driver -o ipmi-driver -i ipmi-driver”, and then you’re just a little bit surprised. But you’re pretty much at the point of no return. I can’t imagine the number of hours you spent on this process.
