The thread ‘projectsv12 ’ has exited with error code 0 (0x0).
When your server is down, it is recommended that you log into your local database as a new user.
I’m sure many of you already know this, but the old forum software was quite buggy and only allowed one post at a time. With that in mind, I have started a new forum software called localdb.
At the time I started this thread I was the only person on my server, but I now have multiple people joining and using the site, so I hope it will be of help.
The new software features the ability to create a new user and log in with that user if you want. You can also create your own users if you are a super paranoid kind of person who needs that extra layer of security. It also allows you to post to a forum or post to a public chat room. Again, if you are paranoid, it might be a good idea to use this tool, but if you want a more secure forum, it is recommended that you connect.
As for security, I’m not sure if it is possible to connect directly to a forum or a chat room, but it is definitely possible to create a new user and login with this new user. I am not a super paranoid person so I will not be using this feature.
Again, I am not a super paranoid person, but I do find it strange that it is possible to create a new user and login with this new user. What if you don’t even know the password? I am not saying that it is impossible, but it is certainly a bit of a risk.
If you do not have admin rights to a forum, you cannot create a new user or make a new post. And if you are not a super paranoid person, you will not be using the feature either. Again, I am not sure if it is possible to connect directly to a forum or a chat room, but it is definitely possible to create a new user and login with this new user.
The point is that you don’t need to know the password to join a forum, or even to create a new user. However, there is a risk that you will be unable to use the features of a forum in this new account. If you’ve already created a new user account, but still don’t have admin rights, try creating a new user with the same name as the existing account and then try logging in with the new user.
