Who Else Wants To Know The Mystery Behind MXRP CHAT?

MXRP CHAT does not allow us to chat with a friend from the app.

That’s because you need to have MXRP installed on your device and be on the same WiFi network. Once the app is installed and you open it, an MXRP chat icon should appear at the bottom of your screen.

You can now add friends from MXRP on your contacts list with a simple tap.

In order to use this function, you need to make sure your phone is connected to the WiFi network, the same as the computer being used for chat. 

And then type in what you want the message says and press send (a sound will play when sent successfully). 

Messages are only received when both people are on WiFi networks or device-to-device connection so they can see one another’s messages.

1. Your Phone

When you’re connected to a network and have MXRP installed on your phone, you can use Chat if the person you wish to chat with has it installed as well.

Chat is activated by tapping the chat icon at the bottom of your screen. You must have “WiFi Networks” set up on your phone.

2. The Other Person

When you want to start a conversation, anyone on a webpage or any computer can use it by pressing the “Chat” icon located at the bottom left of their screen. Just make sure that you are already connected to WiFi or device-to-device connection in order for them to receive your message.

If the other person is using a computer, they can start a conversation by going to MXRP.com and typing any message at once.

When chatting from the computer’s chat page, you can add friends by editing your contacts list.  Press and hold/click on your contact’s name to edit it: select “Add a friend” and type in their username.

You can also start conversations from within MXRP itself by pressing the chat icon at the bottom of your screen that looks like this: : ) .

6. Device-to-Device

Lastly, you can use device-to-device connection. This is easy to do just by starting MXRP on your device and viewing other’s messages directly on the app. Make sure that you are connected to a network before using this option .

When you want to start a conversation with someone, simply click on their username, choose “Add friend”, and then select “Send Message”. You will receive a notification when the other person has accepted your request.

It is important to note that conversations may be deleted if they are idle for more than 45 days. If you would like to keep your conversations from clearing out of your inbox, please be sure to check in every now and then.

What is MXRP Chat?

Our chat feature is called MXRP Chat. It allows you to chat with friends who also have our app installed on their phones or computers in order to share the same WiFi network.

Does MXRP need a password? How do I change my password?  If so, how do I change it? There are two ways to access MXRPChat: 1st one: It’s just like any app which requires a password. If you have forgotten your password and don’t want to reset it, you can click on my MXRP profile and follow this guide: http://mxrp.me/setting-your-passwords 2nd way: You can change your password by following these steps: 

1. Go to the Settings > Profile tab. 

2. Click the ‘Set Password’ button on the right. 

3. Enter a valid password (minimum 6 characters, and NO words in characters) 

4. Save it to set it as your new password 

5. Note that setting a password will be considered as closing your account, if you already have an account, please reset your password. 

Why does my friend’s message not reach me?

There are several reasons for this: 

1. The other person has not installed the app and is using their computer to chat from their browser. In this case you cannot receive their message because the chat feature is only available on the app. 

2. The other person has not yet sent you a request (for adding them as a friend). Please check your Chat Settings page to see if they have added you as a friend; 

3. You have logged out and don’t have access to MXRP Chat when being in WiFi networks; 

4. The other person has disabled his/her MXRP Chat. If the message does not arrive, please check that the person is online, and try sending them another message. 

Is this service free?

Our chat feature is absolutely free to use. We will never charge you to chat with friends or add friends to your contacts list. You may only contact those who have sent you a request.
