For those of you who are unfamiliar with the concept, in the past I’ve used the word “windowed” to refer to how many pixels are displayed on a monitor screen. In a sense, the number of pixels that are displayed on screen are reduced to the actual resolution of the monitor. For instance, if you have a 1024×768 monitor, the number of pixels displayed is 1024, but the true pixel count would be lower 1024 / 768 = 48.
