wvisual studio code 0 is a compiler for V8. It has been around for about 2 years, but I haven’t had a chance to give it a thorough test on a large project. I’m sure it’ll work just fine, but I don’t have the time to test it for all the small stuff that would help make it a more efficient compiler.
I don’t know if this is a good thing, but it’s not a bad thing, and I think the only way to get the most out of V8 is by building it yourself. If you are into building on top of the standard library, you may as well build on top of the standard library itself.
