9 Uncomfortable Truths You Should Accept Early in Life

There’s just no way to sugarcoat this: you’re going to run into a lot of trouble and confusion in your life.

You’re going to have moments where you feel like you don’t belong, moments where it seems like the problems in your life are so insurmountable that they’ll never go away.

You will get hurt and disappointed, but guess what? Everyone does. That’s just life, and there’s no such thing as an easy path.

Here at http://macledge.com/ has some more information about the Truths You Should Accept Early in Life.

Some people see these moments as a sign that they’re unloved or unwanted or simply, “not good enough”. But the truth is, none of us are good enough. Not by ourselves, not by anyone else.

Here are some points discussed about Truths You Should Accept Early in Life-

1. You’re going to be rejected a lot.

The world is full of people who will reject you, ignore you, and not appreciate your existence. In fact, if you don’t know how it feels to be rejected or ignored by someone you care about, then you’ve been extremely lucky so far.

But one day, it’ll happen. At some point in your life a person with whom you cherish a relationship will do something that hurts you and your feelings they won’t call back when they say they will, they won’t approve of the things that are important to you or maybe they just stop being there for you entirely. And it will hurt as much as if someone had stabbed a knife through your heart.

2. You’re going to make mistakes.

At some point, you will make a mistake. And your first reaction might be to blame yourself, to claim that it’s all your fault that things have gone poorly.

But you can’t blame yourself for everything. The world is full of people who have made bigger mistakes than you have  and no one is perfect, no matter how hard we try to pretend otherwise. That doesn’t mean that you’re a terrible person,  but your ability to acknowledge your mistakes and own up to them is what defines you as a person. Hold on tight, but don’t give up so easily either.

3. You’re going to get hurt by people you love.

This is a hard one, because it seems like such a cruel and unjust twist of fate – but love isn’t perfect and it doesn’t always last forever.

If you’ve ever watched a close family member or friend fall apart, things can get ugly and painful sometimes and it’s even harder when the person who hurts you is someone you care about deeply.

But remember: they still care about you too, they’re just hurting as much as you are sometimes.

4. You’re going to die alone someday.

Death is a fact of life. It’s a scary, scary fact that most people choose to ignore in their daily lives, but it is a truth that has to be accepted at some point in time.

Sooner or later, you will die, and when it happens how your loved ones will feel about you isn’t all that important any more.

Whatever the situation is with your relationships when you pass on from this life, remember: you can’t choose who dies and who stays behind.

If you believe in Heaven and Hell then they’re both going to find out about your death anyway- so why not spare yourself a little bit of pain by just living a beautiful, meaningful life?

5. Everyone makes mistakes.

Some of the mistakes people make are life threatening, but most are small. Whether it’s getting caught up in peer pressure or believing that it’s okay to lie to your parents or teachers, there’s always something someone else has done to make you feel uncomfortable.

But think about this: how can you ever really know what someone else has done wrong? It’s impossible.

You have no way of knowing how they might have felt at that time or why they made their choice to behave in the way that they did.

6. You won’t always like yourself.

It’s important to remember that you can’t force yourself to like yourself forever- not everyone is pretty all the time, not everyone is nice all the time and no one is interesting enough for that.

If you’re constantly obsessing over how you look or what your flaws are then there’s probably something wrong with how you’re approaching life but on the other hand, who doesn’t constantly obsess over their flaws?

They’re just one of those things about humans that we have to deal with every single day.

7. You’re going to do things you regret.

8. You’re going to be unhappy sometimes.

9. Everything you do is not for anyone else.
