Learn From These Mistakes Before You Learn Sell Phones

Everyone makes mistakes in life, and as with any skill, it’s important to learn from them as soon as possible. The sooner you learn from a mistake you make the less damage it does to your future endeavors. It doesn’t matter if you are nailing a presentation for work or trying to sell phones for a living — we all have the same goal in mind. It is therefore vital that we stand on the shoulders of those who have tread this path before us and took their lessons in stride. Money origami is the art of taking a single sheet, or dollar bill, by folding it over and over again to form the shape of anything you desire.

Learn From These Mistakes Before You Learn Sell Phones :

1. Your idea of the market is wrong.

The first step to sell phones is to get a true estimate of the market. Find out how many people own a certain type of phone, whether they plan on upgrading their current phone, and what kind of price range they are looking for. Once you have this information, run a survey of your friends, family, and colleagues and see if your idea matches up to what they are looking for. If so great! If not make some changes till such time as your phone has an audience that will support it’s success.

2. You try too hard to sell phones.

It’s nothing against you personally but when things come too easy people don’t take them seriously. The same goes for phones. If somebody finds it really easy to buy a device you want them to purchase, they won’t give it the attention and thought that they would if they had to work hard to get it.

3. You aren’t consistent on your prices.

As much as we would like everything in life to be simple, the unfortunate reality is that this isn’t always the case. It takes a certain amount of money and effort to create a successful business or sell phones, but if you want things to remain predictable and smooth sailing there are some things that must remain consistent. 

The first is pricing your devices at the same price point across the board for all customers — i.e. don’t offer a higher price to one customer and then lower the price on a different customer. The second is that you must maintain your pricing structure no matter how many customers clamor for some of your selling phones. This can be difficult if you are just starting out, but if you are able to maintain this consistency, your business will definitely flourish.

4. You believe in yourself too much and fail to build a foundation for the future.

It’s great to have confidence and self-esteem, but a little bit of humility goes a long way. For example, if you plan on meeting a potential client for dinner, definitely don’t order the most expensive item on the menu. The same goes for selling phones — if you don’t know much about your product, then it makes sense to ask around and get advice from others who are more experienced than you are. This will ensure that you build a foundation for future success in this industry instead of being set back by your own overconfidence.

5. You don’t have a strong network in place .

In order to separate yourself from the competition you need to have an idea of what you are doing. Strong networks are crucial when selling phones because it allows you to get advice from others in the industry who have been there, done that. It also gives your clients confidence in your abilities to take care of them, so having lots of contacts is key if you want to be successful. When working with these people, ensure that they aren’t competitors or your friends because this can lead to compromising information being revealed which could lead to disaster for you and your business.

6. You don’t offer services related to hand phones .

If you are just starting out, it’s always best to work with an established company that already has a strong network of contacts and potential clients. You can try to sell phones on your own, but without the right experience and knowledge in this field it will be extremely difficult to find enough customers to make a living.

7. You don’t have realistic expectations of your success.

The goal here is not necessarily to make money but rather build a successful business that will allow you the freedom to do what you like while taking care of what you need in life. If you are looking for financial security you might have to work a little harder in order to make a living.

After all is said and done, life doesn’t always play out exactly as we plan but if you take these lessons from some of the mistakes we have made in the past and use them as a foundation for your own success, then you will be well on your way to success!
