Here are some points discussed about the Work on your relationship-

1. Worry less about what others think, and more on how you feel.

As the late German philosopher Hans-Georg Gadamer eloquently put it, “The Truth is always a response to a call.” In other words, when you’re worried about what others think of you, you’re missing out on discovering how you really feel.

When in conflict or disagreement with others, avoid calling them names and simply start referring to their feelings.

This doesn’t mean that you have to hide your opinion from them. It just means that when discussing a topic of disagreement or conflict with someone who may be cross or angry with you, try to use language that acknowledges their feelings rather than labeling them as wrong or bad.

2. Respect the feelings of others.

Getting along with one another is all about allowing everyone to feel accepted and respected, despite differences in age or opinions.

That doesn’t mean you have to agree on every single thing, but respecting someone else’s ideals is a way of acknowledging that they have their own right to have certain opinions and values, even if they differ from your own.

One of the best ways to make a difference in a relationship is by listening very carefully, showing interest and avoiding any face-to-face confrontations when possible

3. Don’t make compromises too quickly.

Making compromises generally means giving up something of value that might not be worth it. In a relationship, this usually means giving up your own needs and wants in the name of trying to make others happy.

4. Don’t make assumptions.

In a relationship, someone is going to be angry or upset from time to time, and every once in a while you’re going to make a wrong assumption about what did or did not happen.

This doesn’t mean you have to jump in with both feet and get angry with the other person. Instead, ask them for clarification on what you think you know about what happened.

You’ll be amazed at how this simple approach can improve communication and relationships in your home, the office or even on your next road trip!

5. When you feel stuck, get help.

Sometimes people in relationships don’t feel like talking, or they need some time alone to sort out their feelings about something that happened recently.

When this happens, it’s important to give each other the benefit of the doubt and respect the partner’s right to be sad or upset about something that has happened. You can always ask if they’d like to talk about what is bothering them.

6. Make time for each other.

When you’re moving fast in life, making time to spend together is an important factor in keeping your relationship running smoothly throughout the years.

You don’t have to spend every evening watching TV together, but making the effort to connect on a daily basis can really go a long way in keeping your relationship healthy and strong.

7. Keep a positive perspective.

When you’re in a relationship, it’s easy to focus on the negative and forget all of the good things that have been happening lately. Try to shift from being so focused on the negative to focusing on positives as well.

You don’t have to stop being honest or voicing your concerns, but also try sharing some compliments during the day as well!

Remember, no one’s perfect and everyone needs a little reassurance from time to time. It will do wonders for your relationship!

8. Be open-minded and flexible, about everything.

Some things just don’t work out. You can’t always get your way or live your life the way that you want it to be. The thing to remember is to keep making the effort, and if things turn out badly, make sure you can still agree on what you’d like to do.

It’s important not to waste time on something that doesn’t work out for whatever reason, but make sure you continue having fun with each other. You never know when you’ll meet someone new who will really start encouraging you!

9. Have some fun together!

The best relationship is one in which both partners enjoy spending time with each other and then feel good about themselves after spending time together.

This can be accomplished by making time for each other, even if it’s only for 15 minutes every day. Try to make this time fun and enjoyable by spending some time together, perhaps with a nice meal or at the movies.
